Are Turkey's Spies Operating in America?

Are Turkey's Spies Operating in America?

  • According to Turkish media reports, the Turkish government's Directorate of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) gathered intelligence via its imams and other employees in 38 countries on the activities of Turks suspected of supporting the US-based Turkish Islamic cleric Fethullah Gülen.
  • Peter Pilz, then an Austrian member of parliament, last year revealed that he had received documents from a Turkish source indicating the existence of "a global network of informants" -- spanning four continents -- reporting to Turkey's Diyanet on alleged Gülenists. In most cases, these informants were religion attachés at embassies and consulates.
  • In 2016, the Diyanet Center of America (DCA) completed the construction of a $110 million mosque complex in Lanham, Maryland. According to the DCA website, "The result is a small village that will be an important cultural hub for all visitors and residents of Washington DC area." Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan inaugurated the complex, one of many Diyanet-affiliated mosques in North America.
  • The Trump administration should be on guard. If Erdogan's mosques in Europe, Africa, Australia and Asia are being used as a conduit to spy on Turkish nationals who possibly oppose his rule, is it not safe to assume that similar activity has been going on in the United States?
If Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's mosques in Europe, Africa, Australia and Asia are being used as a conduit to spy on Turkish nationals who possibly oppose his rule, is it not safe to assume that similar activity has been going on in the United States, for example, at the $110 million Diyanet Center of America mosque complex (pictured at left) near Washington, D.C.? According to Turkish media reports, the Turkish government's Directorate of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) gathered intelligence via its imams and other employees in 38 countries on the activities of Turks suspected of supporting the US-based Turkish Islamic cleric Fethullah Gülen, whom Turkey's government accuses of organizing a failed coup attempt in July 2016. Diyanet reportedly requested from its branches abroad to submit their findings in time for the 9th Eurasia Islamic Council, which took place in October 2016. These findings were then reportedly submitted to the "Coup Commission" of the Turkish parliament (TBMM).

Turkey's Revolution Looks like Iran's - but in Slow Motion

Turkey's Revolution Looks like Iran's - but in Slow Motion

  • The SAVAK's infamous Evin prison, which once held as many as 5,000 of the Shah's political enemies, soon held over 15,000 of Khomeini's.
  • Erdogan once said that "Democracy is like a tram. You ride it until you arrive at your destination, then you step off." It appears he has reached his destination.
  • As Prime Minister and then President of Turkey, Erdogan's policies have become steadily more hostile to U.S. interests. He championed the Gaza flotilla, helped Iran transport weapons into Syria, and fought America's Kurdish allies.
  • Imagine what the world would be like if the U.S. had stationed nuclear weapons in Iran prior to Khomeini's takeover. Imagine what the world will be like if Erdogan seizes America's nuclear weapons.

Watching Turkey's transformation into an authoritarian Islamist nation over the last 16 years has been eerily like watching Iran's rapid fall in 1979 -- but in slow motion. Whereas Iran went from a secularist American ally to an implacable Islamist foe in a matter of months, Turkey has been on a similar path but led by a more cautious Islamist, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who has moved at a much slower rate.

Turkey: Building Mosques, Erasing Christianity

The Turkish government is spending hundreds of millions of dollars building mosques as part of a long-term effort to promote Islam around the world. Many Muslims hope that new mosques throughout Europe will persuade the Christian "infidels" to abandon their faith in favor of Islam.

King Of The North Turkey And Erdoğan's International Juggling Circus!!

Turkey: Erdoğan's International Juggling Circus

by Burak Bekdil  •  October 4th
  • Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Chinese President Xi Jinping are discussing more trade -- and in their local currencies, rebuffing the dollar.
  • As of now, Turkey sees the United States as an ungrateful ally and Russia is Turkey's new love affair. For Erdoğan, it is still "Russia time."
  • Germany needs Turkey's cooperation in halting the flow of Islamic jihadists currently stationed in Syria but who may always use Turkish territory to reach the EU. Turkey needs German technology, investment and money.
The continuous decline of democratic values and civil liberties in Turkey will remain a problem between Ankara and most Western capitals, including Berlin. During the recent state visit to Germany of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan (left), Germany's President Frank-Walter Steinmeier (right) publicly criticized Turkey's holding of German citizens, among others, as political prisoners. Turkey's President does it all the time. In 2009, then-prime minister, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan accused China of genocide for the deaths of hundreds of Uighur Turks. Less than a decade later, with his newfound "Eurasianism," Erdoğan's Turkey and President Xi Jinping's China are discussing more trade -- and in their local currencies, rebuffing the dollar .
In 2015, the Turkish Air Force shot down a Russian Air Force fighter jet along Turkey's troubled border with Syria. Russia responded strongly in 2016 by imposing punishing sanctions on Turkey. At the time, Erdoğan was courting Washington. In fear of further -- and even military -- punishments from Moscow, Erdoğan described Turkey's relations with Washington as a "strategic partnership."

The Biblical King Of The North Turkey Are Building More And More Mosques And Are Erasing Christianity!!

Turkey: Building Mosques, Erasing Christianity

by Uzay Bulut  •  October 3rd
  • While Turkey's latest mosque is being inaugurated in Germany, the greatest Christian Orthodox theological school has remained closed for almost 50 years by the order of the Turkish government. Moreover, less than a kilometer away from the shuttered Christian seminary, a major new center of Islamic studies spanning a total area of 200 acres is scheduled to be built.
  • The Greeks of Turkey -- the remnants of the once great Byzantine Empire -- are a severely persecuted and even almost completely exterminated people. They have been exposed, among other crimes against humanity, to a genocide, pogroms and forced deportations at the hands of multiple Turkish governments. As a result, there are only around 1,300 Greeks left in Istanbul. But in spite of its tiny size, the dying Greek community still suffers from discrimination and violations of its rights.
  • The Turkish government, which keeps the country's greatest Christian theological school closed, is spending a large portion of its annual budget on the worldwide construction of mosques.

The Turkish government spends hundreds of millions of dollars building mosques as part of a long-term effort to promote Islam around the world. Many Muslims hope that new mosques throughout Europe will advance and facilitate their wish to spread Islam to non-Islamic countries and persuade the Christian "infidels" to abandon their faith in favor of Islam.
On September 29, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan inaugurated Turkey's latest European mosque, "The Cologne Central Mosque," located in the Cologne, Germany.
The Turkish government-funded Anadolu Agency reported on September 25:
The Cologne Central Mosque, built by Turkish-Islamic Union for Religious Affairs (DITIB) after eight years of construction work, has a capacity of 1,200 people.

Iran's Shia Crescent Is Almost Ready To Confront Israel As It Expands Into Iraq

Iran has sought to leverage Iraq's majority Shi'ite Muslim population as the final piece in its corridor of control, dubbed the "Shi'ite Crescent" from Tehran to Beirut in Lebanon.

"Turkish Education: Same Old Religious Obsession, Only Worse" by Burak Bekdil from "The Gatestone Institute"!!

Turkish Education: Same Old Religious Obsession, Only Worse

by Burak Bekdil  •  September 19th
  • In 2017, Turkey stopped teaching evolution at secondary school: for extremists, Darwinism remains a taboo subject. Instead, school textbooks started teaching Turkish pupils "jihad."
  • A good school, according to extremists, is not where science is taught at universal standards; it is where pious students grow.
  • Turkey's Higher Education Board in 2016 asked 1,577 university deans (reportedly every dean in the country) to resign "for the sake of democracy."
Secular Turks were shocked when Binali Yıldırım, then Minister of Transport, explained that in his youth, he changed his choice of university to avoid a school where male and female students sat together. (Photo by Erhan Ortac/Getty Images)
Secular Turks were shocked when Binali Yıldırım, then Minister of Transport, explained to an interviewer why, in his youth, he changed his choice of university:
"I visited Bogazici University and saw that girl and boy students were sitting together... I feared I could go astray. And I decided to attend the technical university."
Yıldırım who later became President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's choice for prime minister now serves as parliament speaker.
It is not surprising that for Turkey's extremists, governance broadly means the Islamization of everything, including education at every level. In a 2017 speech, Erdoğan boasted that, after his Justice and Development Party came to power, the number of students at the religious imam hatip schools rose from 60,000 to 1.3 million.

THE REVIVAL OF THE GERMANIC-TURKEY MILITARY ALLIANCE IS A VERY WORRYING DEVELOPMENT TO WATCH OUT FOR IN THESE END TIMES!!

Germany And Turkey Agree To Create Major Railroad Network. Make No Mistake About It, This Is About Reviving The Turco-Germany Military Alliance

Turkey and German have struck a deal to build a major railway network within Turkey. As we read in a recent report from Der Spiegel: When Sultan Abdulhamid II ascended the throne of the Ottoman Empire in 1876, the Europeans had high hopes for the young ruler.

TURKEY THE EVIL ANTICHRIST NATION!! A Report On "Turkey: Torture, Sexual Abuse Rampant in Prisons" By Uzay Bulut From "The Gatestone Institute"!!

by Uzay Bulut  •  September 11th
  • Inmates in a jail in Şanlıurfa in southeast Turkey tell of the plight of 27-year-old Uğur Yeloğlu, who they say has been isolated and tortured so badly since his imprisonment seven months ago that his level of functioning is like that of a baby.
  • Yeloğlu was arrested in Istanbul in January for allegedly "aiding a terrorist organization." His lawyer, Abdülkadir Aslan, said that in spite of the many months his client has been in jail, his indictment has not yet been prepared by prosecutors: "The investigation file is also marked 'confidential,' so we do not know what it contains."
  • "Prisoners are beaten up and sometimes killed, when they refuse to roll-call standing up, give military salute, reject strip searches, or ask to see a doctor." — Report by the opposition Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP).
Torture and other forms of unlawful abuse are increasingly widespread in Turkish jails and prisons, under the rule of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. (Photo by Getty Images)
In the early 2000s, after the Justice and Development Party (AKP) first came to power in Turkey, its leader, then Prime Minister (now President) Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, proclaimed a policy of "zero tolerance" for torture.
In June of this year, Turkish Justice Minister Abdulhamit Gül repeated the same mantra. "We -- as the AKP government -- are implementing a policy of zero tolerance for torture," he said.

US Warns As Russia, Iran And Turkey Hold Trilateral Summit To Support Assad’s Plan To Launch Assault On Idlib In Syria

by Geoffrey Grider
trilateral-summit-iran-russia-turkey-september-2018-middle-east

In her remarks at the U.N. Security Council, Haley said the U.S. has been clear with Russia and other nations that “we consider any assault on Idlib to be a dangerous escalation of the conflict in Syria.”

The nothing-burger of the farcical Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearings this weekhave driven real stories like this one to the background, but what an important story it is. For Iran, Russia and Turkey to be having a Trilateral Summit on ensuring Syria continues its civil war slaughter, this time in Idlib, while the United States warns them not to is fairly noteworthy.
"And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia." Daniel 11:2 (KJV)
All 3 nations at the Summit pop up repeatedly in end times Bible prophecy related to the time of Jacob's trouble, with Russia and Iran, Magog and Persia, two of the main heavy hitters. Modern day Turkey appears in the Bible as Meshech and Tubal, also figures prominently in prophecy. So whenever these 3 get together for military reasons, we would do well to pay attention. Lastly, do a word search in your electronic KJV Bible and see how many times Syria and Damascus pop up in the end times. These four nations combined, Israel notwithstanding, comprise the epicenter of prophecy.
FROM THE AP: “If Assad, Russia and Iran continue, the consequences will be dire,” she said. “We urge Russia to consider its options carefully. Stop Assad’s assault on Idlib. Work with us and the U.N. to find peace at last for Syria,” she said.
Iran and Russia on Friday backed a military campaign to retake the last rebel-held stronghold in Syria as Turkey pleaded for a cease-fire, narrowing the chances of a diplomatic solution to avoid what many say would be a bloody humanitarian disaster.
The trilateral summit in Tehran involving Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan puts further pressure on the rebel forces still operating in Syria’s northwestern Idlib province, including about 10,000 hard-core jihadists and al-Qaida-linked fighters. READ MORE
FROM THE MIAMI HERALD: For Russia and Iran, both allies of the Syrian government, retaking Idlib is crucial to complete what they see as a military victory in Syria's civil war after Syrian troops recaptured nearly all other major towns and cities, largely defeating the rebellion against Assad.
A bloody offensive that creates a massive wave of death and displacement, however, runs counter to their narrative that the situation in Syria is normalizing, and could hurt Russia's longer-term efforts to encourage the return of refugees and get Western countries to invest in Syria's postwar reconstruction. Russia also wants to maintain its regional presence to fill the vacuum left by the U.S. and its long uncertainty over what it wants in the conflict.
"We think it's unacceptable when (someone) is trying to shield the terrorists under the pretext of protecting civilians as well as causing damage to Syrian government troops," Putin said. "As far as we can see, this is also the goal of the attempts to stage chemical weapons incidents by Syrian authorities. We have irrefutable evidence that militants are preparing such operations, such provocations." READ MORE
