THE LAND OF ISRAEL HAS ONLY PROSPERED IN JEWISH HANDS

 •     The land of Israel. The most hotly contested region in the world. The Jewish people say it is theirs, and the Arabs say it is theirs. Yet God tells us clearly to whom it belongs – Israel.

•     In the last days, He says, “I will also gather all nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel, whom they [the Gentiles] have scattered among the nations.

•     They have also divided up My land” (Joel 3:2, emphasis added; cf. 2 Chr. 7:20; Isa. 14:25; Jer. 2:7; 16:18; Ezek. 36:5; 38:16; Joel 1:6).

•     The land belongs to Jehovah, and He says He has given it to the Jewish people as an inheritance forever (Gen. 17:8; 48:4; Ezek. 36:24; 37:14). AND IT HAS ONLY PROSPERED IN THEIR HANDS.

An extremely alarming “war of words” is happening between Turkish officials and Israeli officials, and tensions are running incredibly high. For years, the Turks have seethed while the IDF has crushed Hamas in Gaza. And now that the IDF is soundly defeating Hezbollah in Lebanon, the animosity has gone to an entirely new level. You see, the truth is that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan really do detest one another. When two leaders dislike one another as much as Netanyahu and Erdogan do, it can be really easy for military conflict to erupt.

Let us hope that does not actually happen, because the consequences would be catastrophic.

It would be wonderful if both sides would just settle down.

Unfortunately, over the last several days the “war of words” between the two nations has reached “new heights”…

THESE INCLUDE HEZBOLLAH, HAMAS, THE YEMENESE HOUTHIS, THE PALESTINE AUTHORITY SECURITY FORCES (PASF), THE WEST BANK PALESTINIANS AND THE HAMAS CONNECTION, ISIS AND AL QUEDA. SURROUNDED BY SUCH POWERFUL AND SATANIC ENEMIES, THEY CAN ONLY SURVIVE BY THE PROTECTION OF JEHOVAH GOD FOR HIS CHOSEN PEOPLE FROM THE JEWISH STATE - AMEN AND PRAISE THE LORD!

Did the world just get the miracle that it desperately needed? Less than two hours before the deadline that President Trump had set, a deal was announced for a two week ceasefire. If a deal had not been reached, Trump had promised that Iran’s entire power grid and all of their major bridges would be destroyed. In response, Iran would have retaliated by striking oil and natural gas facilities all over the Middle East. The severe damage that this would have caused to the global economy would have plunged our world into turmoil for years.

Trump announced the ceasefire deal on his Truth Social account.

He stated that he has agreed to delay the bombing of Iran’s power grid and major bridges for two weeks, but this is dependent upon the “COMPLETE, IMMEDIATE, and SAFE OPENING of the Strait of Hormuz”…

We’ll see if the Iranians hold up their end of the bargain.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan escalated tensions calling Netanyahu “the Hitler of our time.”

 Turkey’s Foreign Ministry escalated its rhetoric, calling Netanyahu “the Hitler of our time.” 

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan escalated tensions Sunday morning with a series of sharp threats against Israel, warning that Ankara could take direct action.

“Like we entered Libya and Karabakh, we can enter Israel. There is no reason not to do it,” Erdogan said, adding that if not for U.S.-Iran negotiations mediated by Pakistan, “we would have shown Israel its place.”

He also accused Israel of killing “hundreds of innocent Lebanese” on the day of the ceasefire and claimed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was “blinded by blood and hatred.”

Turkish president threatens to invade Israel after accusing Benjamin Netanyahu of being 'blinded by blood and hate'

 Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has issued a stark warning that Ankara could launch military operations against Israel, over its continued bombardment of Lebanon.

Speaking at the International Asia-Political Parties Conference in Istanbul on Sunday, Mr Erdogan condemned what he described as Israeli atrocities and warned that Turkey possessed the capability to act militarily. 

Drawing parallels with previous Turkish interventions in Libya and the Nagorno-Karabakh region, he said: "We will do the same to them." He continued that "there is nothing to prevent us from doing it".The Turkish leader then went on to launch a personal attack on the Israeli Prime Minister, accusing Benjamin Netanyahu of being "blinded by blood and hatred".

Mr Erdogan described Israeli actions as "barbaric" and claimed the country was running a "blood-stained genocide network" targeting civilians.

The escalating confrontation follows an indictment issued by a Turkish court on Friday against Mr Netanyahu alongside 35 additional Israeli officials for their involvement in stopping the "Sumud" Gaza flotilla last October.Those charged include Defence Minister Israel Katz and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, with prosecutors in Istanbul alleging the officials conducted military operations against civilians in international waters.

The current wars in the Middle East raise many concerns for Israel as well as for us. Before the recent ceasefire with Iran, I read repeated warnings that the closing of the Strait of Hormuz would cause dire shortages of food and fuel. The terms of the recent agreement allow Iran to impose a two-million-dollar fee on each ship passing through the strait. I believe this will also add inflationary pressure to the world’s economy, though perhaps not as severe as stopping all the ships seeking to go through it.

Although many are optimistic about the winding down of hostilities, I’m not convinced that the ceasefire ends the perils for Israel or for other nations.

For us as New Testament saints, our only secure hope rests upon the Lord’s promise to deliver us, via the Rapture, from God’s wrath that will sweep over the earth during the Day of the Lord (1 Thessalonians 5:1-11). We know He’s coming to take us home, but we don’t know how soon.
